Jazz Live Valentines 2/14

Jazz Live is on Valentines Day this (leap) year so that's pretty special on its own. The band is hand picked by vocalist Allison Adams Tucker and it's going to be a show. Tuesday, February 14, in the Saville Theater at City College. Jazz 88.3 Members can reserve free tickets now at 619-388-3037. Be sure to print your Parking Pass from now on for every Jazz Live.

Happy Hour 2/16

The Jazz 88.3 Happy Hour returns to your social calendar in 2012 returning to a monthly occurrence. Join us February 16 at the Inn At the Park (formerly the Park Manor Hotel) in Hillcrest from 5 to 7:30pm. We have Patrick Berrogain's Hot Club Combo for entertainment and that top floor will swing. A fiver to defray costs is nothing when you see what special events are in store. 21+ only, please.

Kurt Rosenwinkel 2/24

The Kurt Rosenwinkel Standards Trio will perform at the Athenaeum School of the Arts Studio Friday, February 24. The trio includes guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel, Eric Revis on bass, and drummer Justin Faulkner. The Studio is located at 4441 Park Blvd in University Heights. The Big Read

Black History Month brings awareness. The Big Read promotes reading for pleasure. Throughout the month of February, the Oceanside Public Library will host various events around "Their Eyes Were Watching God" by Zora Neale Hurston. The library is at 330 N. Coast Highway in Oceanside. Right now, we're in the midst of a giveaway for this event!

Jazz 88.3 Sunday Night Jam

The Sunday Night Jam is every Sunday night at Busalacchi's Spaghetteria in Little Italy. Mark Augustin, Bruce Cameron and Tommy Gannon are the nucleus. It's a jam so if you play bring it, or go to listen, and pasta is good eatin' no matter where you're from. 6-9pm
