Cynthia Hammond was born in one of America’s music cities…Detroit, Michigan. That Midwest soul infuses Cynthia’s performance as a vocalist in San Diego, as well as her warm approach on Local Jazz Corner. A local for forty years, Cynthia knows everybody on the local jazz scene and that comes through on the show. If she had spare time, Cynthia would love to travel to Africa or sit down and chat with Dee Dee Bridgewater.
